Relocating...
POSTED AT 03:47 PM
I was really tired yesterday after walking for almost 2 hours. I was actually looking for another room, maybe a pad or an apartment to share with Ate Arlene (my current boardmate). We badly wanted to move from that darn place. I can't speak for Ate Arlene's reasons so I'll speak for mine. They are as follows:
Boardmates are sooooo noisy. There's a student who brings her classmates and friends upstairs and they even stay until the wee hours, talking, laughing and shouting out loud as if they own the boarding house. Another one is just too noisy with her high heel shoes.
There's only one common comfort room upstairs and it's sooooo dirty. I mean, I don't go out of a dirty bathroom, I always make sure the tiles are clean and I'm not leaving behind my trash or personal belongings. Well, get this, everytime I enter the bathroom, there are hairs and parts of sachets clogging the floor. The tiles are so dirty, it's flooded because of the clog. Yikes! Sometimes, other people just don't have the manners to flush the toilet and even leave cigarette butts floating in the toilet bowl and even their dirty undies. Yuck! And to think we are all girls upstairs, pathetic, unhygienic girls!
My room is soooooo hot. Yes, evenings are even hot (except if it's raining), how much more in the afternoons? And since I'm planning to stay home and work from there, I'll be roasted, along with my computer. And poor Nicholas! I just can't let the baby suffer that much.
My room is sooooo small. Yes, I can't abrely move. I am planning to buy little Nicholas a cabinet for his supply, where shall I put that? The room is already crowded with just a bed and a table, another piece of furniture will suffocate me.
The owner/landlord is soooooo ill-mannered. Yes, he is a very hot-tempered person who shouts at his helpers and insults them in front of many people. He bellows as if he wants to wake the dead, very inconsiderate. Imagine this, they've just started operating on June and they already had 6 batches of helpers. 6 Batches! The fast turn-around should tell him he's got an attitude problem!
I think I've said enough. I mean, I plan to walk for another couple of hours this afternoon to look for another house. I have to transfer before this month ends. I'm not sure I can bear walking and looking for a house next month. It will be a very tiresome activity.
